Carbs….Why do they get such a bad rep?

Fiction: Carbohydrates cause weight gain , chronic illness, low energy and inflammation.
Fact: Carbohydrates provide the main source for your body to live, work and play. So many foods fall under the giant umbrella of carbohydrate…everything from whole fruit and grains to processed cereals and candy.

Fact: When you consume too much of any food, you’ll gain weight and be sick.

Enjoy carbohydrate foods in whole, fresh options as often as possible. Limit the processed forms and portion sizes!
