TGrip Warm-Up and Cool-Down Protocol

A good Warm-Up prepares your body for the exercise ahead, and ensures you aren’t risking injuries such as a muscle pull or strain. A Warm-Up gradually raises your heart rate and body temperature, increasing blood flow to your muscles. Warming Up prepares your joints for exercise, increased mobility, reduced muscle soreness and risk of injury.

A good Cool-Down reduces your heart rate, buildup of lactic acid in the muscles and is the first step in recovery, starting the body’s restoration process. Like the Warm-Up, the Cool-Down helps prevent injuries and increase overall mobility.

The TGrip Warm-Up/Cool-Down Protocol happens in 3 stages. Stage one is a morning Warm-Up when you wake up in the morning. Stage Two is a Warm-Up before your workout. Stage 3 is the Cool-Down after your workout. Each stage lasts 5-10 minutes.

Warming Up first thing in the morning helps you wake up, loosen up, and gets your mind ready for anything the day throws at you. It is also a great daily goal to hit, starting your day right both physically and mentally. Warming Up before your workout gets your heart rate up and prepares your body for your workout. Cooling down after your workout is the first step in the recovery process.
